As an Accountant

This guide explains how accountants get started with Fiskl and where to find everything you need to work with your clients.

Fiskl Atlas for Accountants

Accountants and bookkeepers work with Fiskl through Fiskl Atlas, a free portal for accounting firms. From Atlas, you can:

  • Connect with clients who use Fiskl and open their accounts without a separate login
  • Decide who pays for each client's Fiskl subscription: your firm or the client
  • Organise your practice into branches and give your team the right access
  • See which clients need attention, and draft notes to them with AI
info

An Atlas account is separate from a Fiskl account. Even if you already use Fiskl for your own business, create an Atlas account to work with clients. If you used Fiskl's previous accountant portal, it has been retired, and its logins don't carry over to Atlas.

Setting Up Atlas

  1. Go to atlas.fiskl.com and register
  2. Verify your email address
  3. Follow the onboarding steps to set up your practice and first branch

Setup takes a few minutes. See Setting Up Your Practice for the full steps.

Finding Your Branch Email

Each branch in Atlas has its own branch email. Clients use it to invite you from their Fiskl account, so share it with every client you want to connect with. To find it, open the branch selector at the top left of the Atlas menu.

Connecting With Clients

There are three ways to connect with a client:

  • Your client invites you — A client who already uses Fiskl sends an invitation to your branch email. It appears under Client Invitations in Atlas. See Accepting Client Invitations.
  • You invite your client — Share your branch's invitation link. Your client creates and pays for their own Fiskl account, then invites your branch email from it.
  • You set up your client's account — Your firm creates the client's Fiskl account and pays for it

The last two are covered in Adding Clients. To decide who pays for each client, see Billing Models.
