Products & Services

This section covers products and services in Fiskl — reusable templates for invoice and quote line items. Set them up once with your standard pricing, descriptions, and tax rates, then add them to invoices and quotes in a single step.

Why Use Products and Services

Entering item details manually on every invoice or quote takes time and introduces inconsistencies. A products and services catalog gives you a single place to define your standard offerings. When you add an item to an invoice or quote, the name, price, tax rate, and description populate automatically.

You can adjust the quantity, price, or description for a specific transaction without affecting the original template. Your team always has access to the most up-to-date catalog, so everyone invoices and quotes from the same set of items.

tip

You can also create a line item directly whilst building a quote or invoice if you need something that isn't in your catalog yet.

The distinction helps with financial reporting and revenue categorisation. Both function identically in Fiskl.
