Setting Up Your Practice

This guide explains how to get your Atlas practice ready and helps you complete the essential steps before adding clients or team members.

Step 1: Sign Up​

Go to the Atlas registration page and create your account. When you register, Fiskl makes you the Super Admin of your organisation. Super Admin gives you complete access to all branches, users, and billing settings.

You receive an email confirmation before you can proceed. Check your inbox and verify your email address.

Step 2: Create Your First Branch​

After signing in, create your first branch. Branches are the operational units of your practice — each branch has its own clients, team members, and billing.

  1. Open the branch selector at the top left of the menu
  2. Select Add Branch
  3. Enter a branch name, branch email address, and country
  4. Select your billing currency

The billing currency cannot be changed after the branch is created. Choose the currency your firm uses to invoice clients for managed services. All other branch details can be updated at any time.

If your firm works in multiple currencies, you can add more branches later — one per billing currency.

Step 3: Add a Payment Method (Charge Us only)​

If you plan to pay for client subscriptions on behalf of your firm, you need to add a payment method before you can add any Charge Us clients.

  1. Go to Clients > New Client > Charge Us > Setup Account
  2. Choose Request billing verification
  3. Enter a short reason. Note that the currency cannot be changed, as this is set to your account's default currency.
  4. You will be redirected to the Stripe portal to add your card or bank details.

Card payments are usually approved instantly. Direct debit payments take three to five business days to verify. You cannot add Charge Us clients until verification is complete.

If you only plan to use the Client Pays model, you can skip this step entirely.

You Are Ready​

Once your branch is created and your payment method is verified (if needed), you can invite your team and start adding clients.
