Getting Started with Atlas
This section explains how Atlas is structured and helps you get your practice operational from sign-up to your first client.
What You Need to Do
Setting up Atlas takes four steps. Most practices complete this in under an hour.
- Set up your practice — Sign up and become the Super Admin of your organisation. Your organisation is the top level of your Atlas workspace.
- Configure your first branch — Create a branch and set its billing currency. Branches are where your day-to-day work happens: managing clients, billing, and your team.
- Understand your team structure — Atlas uses two levels of roles: organisation-wide roles and branch-level roles. Knowing this helps you invite the right people with the right access.
- Add your first clients — Choose the billing model that fits each client relationship and connect them to your branch.
Atlas is free for accountants. You only pay when you use the Charge Us billing model to manage client subscriptions on behalf of your firm.
