Choose Your Fiskl Plan

This guide explains Fiskl's subscription plans and helps you select the right tier for your business needs.

Available Plans​

Fiskl offers three paid plans plus a Free tier:

  • Free: Basic features for getting started and exploring Fiskl
  • Solo: Essential tools for solo entrepreneurs and freelancers
  • Pro: Advanced features for growing businesses with small teams
  • Prime: Full capabilities for established companies with larger teams

All paid plans are billed monthly when you sign up. You can switch to annual billing from the Billing tab after subscribing, which costs the same as ten months each year. See Manage Your Subscription.

How to Select Your Plan​

Before you begin, consider your business size, required features, and team member count.

Steps:

  1. Visit the pricing page

    Go to the Fiskl registration page or access pricing from Settings > Subscriptions & Billing > Plans tab.

  2. Compare plan features

    Review what each tier includes. Identify must-have features for your business such as multi-currency support, accounting features, or team member limits.

  3. Select your preferred plan

    Select the Choose Plan button for your desired tier.

  4. Complete registration or upgrade

    Enter your payment details to activate your subscription. Your account activates immediately.

Understanding Additional Users​

Each plan includes a set number of team members. Additional users beyond your plan limit are billed monthly at the per-user rate shown on the pricing page.

Flexible team management:

  • Add users anytime without immediate charges
  • New user charges are not instant, allowing flexible management
  • Removing a user on the same day you add another prevents extra charges
  • Pro-rated billing applies for users added mid-cycle

Understanding Document Storage​

Each paid plan includes an amount of document storage for the files you keep in Documents.

Going over your allowance does not stop you working. Storage above your plan is billed per whole gigabyte per month, rounded up, at the rate for your billing currency — $0.50 per GB in USD. Fiskl measures your usage on your bill date and adds the charge to that bill.

Only files in the document library count. Receipts you send for scanning, attachments on transactions, and your brand assets are stored separately and do not count. Deleted documents keep counting for the 90 days Fiskl holds them for restore.

Understanding Fi AI Usage​

Your plan includes a monthly allowance of Fi AI tokens. Tokens measure how much text Fi AI reads and writes when it answers your requests. Your included tokens reset at the start of each month.

As a guide, 1M tokens covers around 80 conversations with the Fi Standard model. Extra tokens are available on all plans. The Fi Advanced model gives you access to the latest, most advanced AI model available.

To view your usage, go to Settings > Subscriptions & Billing > Usage and select the AI Usage tab. The Fi AI monthly tokens panel shows how many included tokens you have used this month. It also shows your total remaining tokens, including any you have purchased.

Buying More Tokens​

If you need more than your monthly allowance, you can buy additional token packs. Each pack contains 30M Fi AI tokens and costs $50 USD. The price converts to your billing currency at the current rate, and tax is added where it applies.

Purchased tokens work differently from your included tokens:

  • They are used only after your included monthly tokens run out
  • They stay valid for six months from the date of purchase
  • Requests that use the Fi Advanced model draw on them at that model's own token rate

To buy a token pack:

  1. Go to Settings > Subscriptions & Billing > Usage.
  2. Select the AI Usage tab.
  3. Under Buy more tokens, select Buy tokens.

Fiskl charges the card on file, and the receipt appears in your billing history. Your purchased balance and next expiry date then show under Purchased token balance. Select Your token packs to see each pack and its remaining tokens.

Setting Up Automatic Top-Up​

Automatic top-up buys another pack for you when you have fewer than 5M tokens left. You receive a receipt for each purchase, and Fiskl leaves at least six hours between purchases.

Fiskl charges the card on file automatically for each top-up, with no further confirmation step.

To turn on automatic top-up:

  1. Go to Settings > Subscriptions & Billing > Usage and select the AI Usage tab.
  2. Under Automatic top-up, select the Automatically buy another pack when I'm about to run out checkbox.
  3. Set the monthly limit for automatic purchases.

Automatic purchases stop once they reach the monthly limit you set. You can turn automatic top-up off at any time from the same page. The full terms for automatic purchases are in Fiskl's Terms and Conditions.

AI Categorisation​

The AI Categorisation panel shows the tokens the bank feed categoriser uses to place your transactions. These tokens are not deducted from your Fi AI tokens, and there is nothing to pay. Use the panel to monitor this usage and reduce it with categorisation rules. Select the month dropdown to view a different month.

Usage Analytics​

The Usage analytics section breaks down your Fi AI usage over a period you select: This month, Last month, 3 months, or 6 months. The charts follow the selected period, while your allowance at the top of the page always shows the current month.

The analytics include:

  • Total tokens: Tokens used in the period, with the number of conversations, users, and models
  • Monthly token usage: A chart of tokens used each month, split by team member
  • By model: Input, output, and total tokens, plus the number of requests for the Advanced and Standard models
  • By user: Total tokens used by each team member

Offers and Discounts​

Many plans include introductory offers with discounted rates for your first billing period. These offers apply automatically when you register.

Discounts don't always carry over when upgrading plans. Pay attention to the pricing amounts shown during plan changes to understand your new rate.

When your introductory offer expires, you'll be charged the standard rate for your current plan. If you downgrade during an offer period, the new offer rate applies after your current billing period ends.

What Happens When You Cancel​

If you cancel a subscription, you revert to the Free plan at the end of your billing period. You'll maintain access to:

  • Web and mobile apps
  • Most non-accounting data
  • Invoice and expense history
  • Client and vendor records

Limitations on Free plan:

  • No accounting features or Chart of Accounts access
  • Banking feeds disconnect after several days
  • Limited reporting capabilities
  • Reduced feature set compared to paid plans

Your data remains intact. If you re-subscribe later, all information will be available, though you'll need to reconnect banking integrations.
