Update Billing Information

This guide explains how to update your billing information and helps you keep your payment method current for uninterrupted Fiskl service.

Why Update Billing Informationโ€‹

Keeping your billing information current ensures:

  • Uninterrupted access to your Fiskl subscription
  • Accurate invoicing with correct billing addresses
  • Successful automatic renewal payments
  • Up-to-date tax information on invoices
  • Smooth processing without payment failures

Update your information when your card expires, you change banks, or your billing address changes.

How to Update Your Billing Informationโ€‹

Before you begin, have your new card details and billing address ready.

Steps:

  1. Open Subscriptions & Billing

    From the left menu, select Subscriptions & Billing.

  2. Go to the Billing tab

    Select the Billing tab to view your current payment method.

  3. Select Edit billing info

    On the Saved Card section, select the Edit billing info link.

  4. Enter your updates

    Update your card number, expiration date, CVV, or billing address as needed.

  5. Save your changes

    Select Save card to confirm the updates.

Your new payment information takes effect immediately. Future charges will use the updated card and billing address.

Fiskl securely stores your payment information using industry-standard encryption. We never store your full card number or CVV after the initial entry.

What You Can Updateโ€‹

The billing information form allows you to change:

Card details:

  • Card number
  • Expiration date
  • CVV security code
  • Cardholder name

Billing address:

  • Street address
  • City and postal code
  • State or region
  • Country

When to Update Billing Informationโ€‹

Update your billing information in these situations:

Card expiration:

  • Update before your card expires to avoid service interruption
  • Most cards expire at the end of the month shown
  • Set a reminder one month before expiration

Changed payment method:

  • Switching to a new card or account
  • Using a business card instead of personal card
  • Changing from one bank to another

Address changes:

  • Moving to a new location
  • Updating company address
  • Correcting errors in the existing address

Failed payments:

  • After resolving issues with your bank
  • When replacing a lost or stolen card
  • After increasing your card limit

Verifying Your Updatesโ€‹

After saving your changes:

  1. Check the confirmation: You'll see a success message confirming the update
  2. Review the Billing tab: Your new card details appear (last four digits only)
  3. Verify the next charge: The next billing date remains unchanged
  4. Check your email: Fiskl sends a confirmation email about the payment method change

What Happens to Pending Chargesโ€‹

If you have pending charges when updating your billing information:

  • Future charges use the new payment method
  • The next scheduled charge processes with the updated card
  • Any failed payments can be retried with the new card details
  • Your subscription continues without interruption

Troubleshooting Payment Updatesโ€‹

Card update fails with an error

Solution:

  1. Verify all card details are correct
  2. Check that the card is activated and not expired
  3. Ensure your billing address matches your bank records
  4. Contact your bank if the issue persists
  5. Try a different card if available
Updated card doesn't appear

Solution:

  1. Refresh the page and check again
  2. Verify you selected Save card
  3. Clear your browser cache
  4. Log out and log back in
  5. Contact Fiskl support if the issue continues
Billing address won't save

Solution:

  1. Check that all required fields are completed
  2. Verify postal code format matches your country
  3. Ensure no special characters in address fields
  4. Try typing the address instead of copying
